WHAT TO EXPECT: This role is responsible for the performance of the JLR and Syncreon LLP operational team to deliver all operational targets by ensuring volume, quality and associated scorecard metrics such as Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Morale and Environment are met. This role will manage the day to day JLR, Syncreon operation, maintenance functions over multi-shift operations within budget ensuring all material is delivered on time to relevant JLR overseas assembly operations (India / Brazil). Provide UK IEO based support for any requirements from overseas plants to enable their delivery of operational targets. KEY ACCOUNTABILITES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This is an incredibly varied role that will require your input across Operations, Data Integrity and Facilities. The role will ensure that you are always busy and offers a lot of autonomy; however, the wider team are incredible and whilst you will provide a level of leadership, you will have support from everyone in the immediate and wider team. Operations: Working with the RFU team, you'll support material flow into, and out of the facility to support weekly build plan and Interface with DHL to Improve & Optimise capacity & utilization on sequence material collection routes (Workshop). You'll also support Engine shipments by creating OBD orders in SAP for shipments to India by SEA / AIR, perform splitting of OBDs, refires to AOS, transfer stock locations, and any other adjustments and changes to keep system up to date. You'll track all damaged stillages, supervise return & repair and track costs, raise any Consumable orders through IESA and track (KPI) and raise all shopping carts for ad hoc repairs or special requirements. A large part of this role is ensuring the health and safety onsite. You will help to drive manufacturing systems throughout the facility, including supporting Syncreon delivering 5S, safety walks, Kaizen Lean learning and any JLR systems and processes that can be shared when required. Part of your role will be to circulate the latest Safety bulletins and alerts to Syncreon, authorise deviation from process when required and KSM when required; Raise all Syncreon requests for JLR Access to CMMS, CDSID, EMA, KD2000 & SAP access and Maintain JLR WAY Processes as Administrator, DRIM, T Matrix, R&R, Risk Register, Turtle, Train Logs. Facilities: Working with Syncreon, you will lead Maintenance and Facilities standards and processes and provide leadership and support to workgroup members at times of reactive maintenance, ensuring safe working at all times. As a leader in this area you will: - Instigate and lead improvement projects - Develop plans for obsolete equipment removal and upgrade - Determine how critical a failure is to the organization based on the priority of equipment, the severity of the fault and the impact on Production. Support Syncreon team when required in Emergency breakdown cover to repair failures - Keep asset register up to date - Prepare Statements of Work (SOW) for new tenders - Facilitate and co-ordinate RAMs as required - Support & Organise JLR activities on Facility master schedule (BES Insurance Inspections) - Liaise with Syncreon on agreed Annual facility Master schedule cadence. - Identify Suitable suppliers to support Day to day Maintenance and Future Projects - Support Project initiatives, obtain quotes, interface with suppliers and supply accurate information. Data integrity: Working with Data Integrity, you'll help to support part changes and model year programs to ensure a smooth transition and minimise Obsolescence. (LEQOS) Working with RFU teams, supervise Obsolescence returns to main plants (CB/SOL/EMC/ & Halewood) and support and work with the JLR Sequence team to achieve its targets.
