Solutions4Health are delighted to be offering the role of **Receptionist** at **Sexual Health Services for Herefordshire**. This is a** permanent, part-time role** with a salary of** £21,730.00**

**Role Summary**

Signposting patients via the telephone and face-to-face to the most appropriate local services. Referring patients to the nurse triage service and distributing condoms and information to patients. Reviewing patient results and referring any positive or abnormal results to the relevant clinician for action. Daily administration tasks and checks

Booking patients in at reception, supporting them to complete paperwork and entering personal information onto the IT systems.

Printing labels / forms for clinical staff.

Stocking the administrative supplies and the clinical room supplies

Dealing with post and parcels.

Ensuring that the waiting room and non-clinical spaces are kept tidy and safe from hazards.

Answering the patient phone lines and looking at availability for booking appointments

Working in a team to work through follow up appointments to be booked and referrals from other professionals

Completing letters on behalf of clinicians and providing administrative support including sending texts to patients, completing appointment cards and following up phone calls with patients who have missed appointments.

**Personal Specification**

Caring, empathetice and non-judgemental. Excellent customer service skills

**Required Skills/Qualifications**

Secondary education, ideally with NVQ in business administration or customer service, or willing to work towards.

Orgainsed, good time management, IT skills
