We are offering you an exciting opportunity to help us to continue to grow and provide an exceptional customer experience for our patients that goes way beyond what is offered by most other Opticians.
The Role:
You will be responsible for meeting and greeting our patients both on the phone and in person and ensuring everyone is made to feel welcome, booking in patients for eye tests and contact lens checks, forwarding on clinical queries to professional members of staff and general admin.
Optical experience is not essential, as we provide full training to all our team members. This is a full time position, Tuesdays-Saturdays.
**Tasks**:
- Clearly and professionally communicate the value of our services in person and on the phone
- Confidently explain the two types of eyetests and the different contact lens appointments we offer (full training given)
- Send reminders for appointments on a daily basis
- Respond to and triage online queries
- Advise and book in patients when their glasses are ready to collect
- Always maintain our exceptionally high standards of customer service in a pleasant, patient and courteous manner

**Requirements**:
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Experience in high-end customer service roles
- Ability to use a computer confidently (full training on our software given)
- Punctual, thorough and a team player who understands the importance of exceptional customer care
- Reference from current or most recent employer
- Ability to work full time
- Tuesdays-Saturdays
**Salary**: From £21,000.00 per year
