The post holder will be responsible for providing competent professional technical and operational advice on all matters regarding fire safety throughout Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust including appropriate training of personnel in fire safety.
- Responsible for assisting the Trust in managing the fire risk in a safe, timely and cost-effective manner within the operational constraints and available resources.
- Liaising with the head of Health and Safety, Risk Management, Estates and Facilities staff and Health and safety representatives to ensure that the Trust complies with fire safety legislation and guidance.
- Providing appropriate training and advice to managers and staff within the Trust
- Lead on the review, development, and implementation of the Trust’s fire safety policy.
- Carry out fire safety audits and risk assessments.

Advises on incident management and responses.
