**Hunters 4 Staff **are pleased to be recruiting an experienced **Buyer** for our busy client based in Rocester on a full time and permanent basis.

You will need to have experience buying non-production related materials to be considered for this role.

**About You**
- Significant procurement experience - preferably within a manufacturing business
- Experience in developing and implementing successful long-term commodity strategies
- Understanding of key cost drivers within a supply base
- Confident negotiator with a proven record of creating cost ideas and delivering significant reductions
- Experience managing multiple projects and co-ordinating cross functional teams to ensure on-time delivery
- Experience managing high level supplier relationships, establishing contracts & delivering tangible benefits
- Ability to build strong internal relationships with key stakeholders

**The Role**
- Developing Commodity Strategies for each area of responsibility, working with the wider business to ensure strategies are implemented in a timely manner
- Develop and lead supplier relationships to deliver tangible mutual benefits
- Work with suppliers and stakeholders to reduce cost and or add additional value to our business
- Build strong relationships across the supply base, be responsible and accountable to make and influence key decisions that are in the best interest of my client.
- Manage multiple resource / capacity projects with suppliers to ensure my client can achieve our 5-year plan
- Identify and drive cost reduction activities
- Leading contractual negotiations for your suppliers (Long Term Agreements, Service Agreements, terms & conditions)

**Pay**

Competitive dependant on experience: £30 - £45k

**Hours**

Monday - Friday 08:30 - 17:00

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £30,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
