We have a fantastic opportunity for a Service Designer to work for one of the UK's leading and well-known names in UK financial services. You'll be a highly skilled, energetic, and flexible Service Design practitioner that thrives in complex environments. You will facilitate Discovery activities and events that explore, validate, and define new and improved solutions to sometimes complex challenges for our clients customers, colleagues and business. Through human-centred design processes you will map service states and help set the vision and direction for new and improved end-to-end experiences that deliver the best outcomes for our clients users, maximise satisfaction, increase conversion and self-service, and create operational efficiencies.

Experience Required
- Strong commercial background as a Service Designer with a deep understanding of service design, value proposition design, and experience design for solutions (digital services and products) of all kinds, sizes and contexts.
- Applied knowledge of service design methods; service blueprints, customer journey mapping, business process modelling and mapping etc.
- Skilled in facilitating in-person and remote Design Discovery activities such as workshops, design sprints and co-creation events.
- Experienced in the exploration and co-creation of new ideas and design solutions that meet the needs of all users alongside the goals and commercial ambitions of the business.
- Experienced in planning, conducting, and communicating user research and testing as part of the design process (including desk research, user surveys, multi-variant testing, stakeholder interviews, remote and lab-based prototype testing).
- Strong communication, presentation and written skills (estimates, proposals, research insights, strategy documents and articles) working with senior stakeholders (Head of, Director level)
- Client facing experience in a consultancy or agency environment would be beneficial.
- Ideally some experience of working as part of a discovery or innovation team.
