To fulfil this role, you will be required to carry out meter readings and tap water temperatures and other basic tasks at customer properties in Kent and the surrounding counties.

Daily tasks will involve visual checks and accurate logging of data into a hand-held device or record sheet, as you rotate around buildings and contracted client portfolios.

This role is a customer-facing role working on long-term contracts.

**The right person**

We are looking for self-motivated individuals, who can eventually work with mínimal supervision, who have good interpersonal skills.

Working 37.5 hours a week, between the times of 8:30 - 5:00 Monday - Friday

Our ideal location would be in or near to the Medway towns for easy access to the office.

**What will I need?**

A personality that meets our clients needs as we work largely in schools, social housing, and NHS premises. (The ability to smile, be courteous and say good morning)

Smart and friendly appearance with a professional approach to work. (Well groomed, clean, and the focus to get things right).

Hold a full UK driving licence. (No more than three points)

No unspent criminal convictions. (An advanced DBS/Disclosure police check is performed on all staff due to our clients’ vulnerabilities)

Competency in numeracy and basic literacy. (Basic math and record keeping, nothing too demanding)

A basic understanding of plumbing is an added advantage, but not essential (home plumbing, recognisable plumbing courses, a work history of maintenance)

**Salary**

This position receives a starting salary of £18,500 to £20,000 depending on transferable experience, plus a Company van and fuel for business use.

For those with a history within legionella control this structure can be extended.

There may also be the opportunity to work as support within our other departments on weekend for those who wish to with an enhanced day rate. But this is not a requirement of the position and will only be extended to those who have the desire to progress into other areas as part of their career path.
