_Operations Assistant (Cleaning) _
**Job Purpose**:
As the Cleaning Operations Assistant the applicant will be responsible for providing general assistance for the Cleaning Division of the company. This division has grown substantially over the past year and includes a number of commercial and private cleaning contract and ad-hoc works.
**Main Duties & Responsibilities**:
- To organise and schedule the specialist mobile cleaning operatives and assist them with job queries and issues.
- To add and process new cleaning jobs/works onto the company system in accordance with the company rules, paying specific attention to detail in order for the department to take matters forward.

- To order cleaning materials and chemicals as required
- To liaise with mobile cleaning staff with respect of their supplies, access issues, parking and fleet requirements.
- To check staff monthly invoices and record/match on system
- To assist the cleaning manager with recruitment of new staff
- To undertake occasional site visits for auditing, training and general inspections.
- To liaise with our client with respect of updates, queries & complaints
- To assist the cleaning manager with new processes and procedures
- To undertake additional administrative duties as required by the company from time to time.
**Person Specification**:
- Essential_
- Previous administration experience.
- Knowledge of cleaning services
- Basic knowledge of H&S and HR
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- An ability to deal with demanding people and handle conflicting opinions
- Organised, methodical and punctual
- An ability to multi-task and possess strong prioritisation skills
- Can demonstrate high customer focus and time management skills
- Able to work independently and take responsibility for own actions
- To be flexible, well presented, self-motivated and be able to use initiative.
- Hold a full UK/EU driving licence
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £24,000.00-£28,000.00 per year
