DigiHaul is a new UK-based digital freight business with the aim to become the leading digital road freight platform provider.
Nine times out of ten when you see a heavy-duty vehicle they are not at full capacity. When heavy-duty vehicles are not at full capacity, they throw unnecessary CO₂ into the atmosphere.
Our platform creates a Digital Network that enables loads to be delivered more efficiently, at a better price and with greater quality than ever before.
By successfully matching carrier capacity with available shipper loads in the platform, value is generated, promoting more transactions on the DigiHaul platform for optimisation and to create a virtuous cycle.
About you
You are someone who enjoys a fast paced, dynamic work environment and who excels in quick problem solving and has a keen eye for detail.
You are able to work tactically and think strategically as the business rapidly scales. You understand how integral you are to success and future of DigiHaul and the part you play in transforming an industry.
**Responsibilities**:
- Effectively manage the CMS database, including some allocation of shipments and all POD and self billing processes are kept upto date
- Create effective processes for the processing of self bills, PODs,etc
- Ensure tasks are completed in a timely and accurate fashion
- Team Working - work in collaboration with colleagues at all levels within DigiHaul to achieve results, are work closely with Service Delivery team
- Effective management of issues utilising problem solving skills. The ability to make sound decisions quickly and escalate to the Service Support Manager where appropriate
- Be flexible regarding shift patterns in the event of absence
- Effective organisational skills and ability to work under pressure and on own initiative
- Projects - support role out of new processes and systems within CMs for self bill process
- Actively work through Power BI report for all SD Checked shipments and complete 4 eye check ready for closure of Job File to self bill status
- Daily tasks to clear report on an hourly basis
- Work closely with other team members to ensure all daily tasks are up dated efficiently
- Be self-motivated and also support the motivation of wider team members to perform to the highest standards
What do you need?
- Knowledge CMS or transport systems
- Excellent administration and organisational skills
- Working Knowledge of Microsoft package (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Desired - Knowledge of Power BI program (but not essential)
- Self motivated and ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative
- Previous experience in a transport administrative or operational environment
- Good working geographical knowledge of UK & Irish road networks
