**Role**: Security Officer

**Location**:Corby, Northamptonshire

**Pay Rate**:£12 ph

**Hours of Work**: Rolling shift pattern, nights and weekends, 12 hour shifts.

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Security Officer to join our team in Corby, Northamptonshire**:

- **NN17.

As a Security Officer at SES Security you will a maintain safe and secure environments for our clients’ premises, install excellent verbal and written communications, ensure a smart and well-presented attire at all times and install excellent customer service skills and be a valued ambassador for not only SES Security but the client of which premise they are assigned to.

**Key Responsibilities**
- To effectively control the access to the client’s premises, ensuring only authorised visitors and staff are permitted.
- Ensure that all callers and visitors are dealt with in a polite and professional manner.
- Conduct regular security patrols and inspections of the premises, surveillance equipment and alarm monitoring systems, ensuring that all issues are responded to and reported.
- To submit detailed reports on discovery of issues relating to health and safety and crime to the relevant persons either verbally or in report form as required.
- In line with Company policy carry out routine search procedures in a sensitive manner to include vehicles, buildings, and persons as and when requested and authorised.
- Maintain accurate and up to date record logs of daily occurrences, incidents, visitors and key register.
- To effectively deal with site based incidents and safety concerns, ensuring all matters are dealt with and escalated as per the onsite assignment instructions.

- Essential_
- Valid SIA licence (SG or DS)
- Previous experience working in a security capacity
- Desirable but not essential_
- First Aid Certification
- Level 2 Customer Services
