Plan, organise, manage and coordinate various types of events which would fit the

requirements of the Peer Mentoring project.***
- To provide a detailed schedule of volunteer events, which include venues, timings and

collection points.
- Manage various risks associated with volunteering and the events being held and

maintain updated risk assessments.
- Develop links with local and national news papers to publicise the service.
- Develop and design content for a quarterly newsletter.

**Responsibilities:
- To ensure all project outcomes are delivered on target
- Maintain working relationship with vendors and venues
- Administer pre-event activities including delegates, venues, literature, and associated

paperwork.
- Managing and overseeing events on the day, including problem-solving, welcoming

participants, directing the event set up and packing up.
- Liaise with the peer mentors to provide detailed volunteering activities and events
- To support the project manager, trainer and referrals agent in raising awareness of the

service
- Network and make connections with a variety of services to build volunteering

opportunities
- Source new volunteering and events opportunities for the Cyfle Cymru participants
- Manage volunteers in providing added value to the Out of Work Service
- Record all activities in compliance with both organisational and Welsh Government

regulations. This would include client sessions records, timesheets and any other
outcome monitoring required of the Scheme
- To promote high level of customer care within own area of responsibilities
