iSupply Group are currently recruiting for a Transport Planner for a rapidly expanding transport company based in Newton-Le-Willows on a Temp to Perm basis.

Our client is a family run business that has been operating in Logistics for over 20 years. Due to continued growth they are looking for a Transport Planner to join the team.

**£12.80p/h (£27k Per Year) - Weekly Pay**

**Must be flexible to work between the hours of 0600-1800**

**Job Role**
- Day to day planning of 10 Class 1 Vehicles and 2 Class 2 Vehicles. This will be a mixture of Day Drivers and Trampers
- Liaising with customers on a daily basis to plan outbound and inbound loads as well as keeping them up to date with any issues.
- Managing Drivers in terms of working hours, daily start times and general issues
- Dealing with large blue chip customers across the UK.
- Will be required to use various software planning systems to arrange loads with customers
- Daily debriefs with Drivers to discuss any issues such as infringements or vehicle issues.
- Reporting any vehicle issues to the management team in order to get vehicles serviced and maintained.

**Requirements**:

- Previous Transport Planner experience dealing with both outbound and inbound full transport loads.
- Ability to deal with Drivers on a day to day basis and the issues that may arise.
- Excellent customer service skills due to dealing with large blue chip clients
- Must have understanding of Driving Hours and Regulations
- Previous experience of using Transporeon, Tachomaster and Haulage Exchange transport systems - Desirable
- Ability to work within a small team
