With the expansion throughout the eCommerce sector, my client has rapidly expanded throughout the South Yorkshire area over the last five years, enhancingthe logistics offering, and winning multiple new contracts, servicing the UK's leading brands, and thus looks to recruit a Warehouse Supervisor on this basis.

**Description**

On a daily basis the successful Warehouse Supervisor will report into the Warehouse Shift Manager and lead a team of 20 highly successful colleagues. You will also have responsibility for the following areas:

- Daily management of 20+ colleagues, rising to 45 during peak.
- Basis managerial responsibility such as Return to works, appraisals, absence management
- Joint responsibility for continuous improvement within the warehouse such as GEMBA walks and Kaizen events.
- Based upon one of the key warehousing sections, i.e. inbound, outbound, pick & pack, replenishment or e-commerce.
- Responsible for all health & safety across site and promoting a safe atmosphere in which to work.

**Profile**

The successful Warehouse Supervisor will be commutable to Worksop and embody the following experience / skills:

- 2+ years experience in a Warehouse Team Leader and / or Warehouse Management role within a Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain background.
- Must have a 3PL background - **Essential**:

- Strong background of knowledge in warehousing and logistics
- Proven track record of leading teams of 15+ colleagues.
- Ideally degree educated (BA / BSc / BEng).
- IOSH or NEBOSH is desirable, but not essential.
- Any history of CI or Kaizen would be advantageous.
- Be able to operate on a Mon-Fri working week, on rotating shifts of 6am-2pm, and 8am-4pm

**Job Offer**
- Basic Salary of £25,000 - £27,000 DOE
