Growing e commerce business based in the Irlam area requires a Stock Accountant for their growing team.

Reporting to the Head of Finance this is an excellent role that will offer development and progression to the right person.

Duties of the role will include;
- Maintaining 99.9% stock accuracy and identify and resolve discrepancies and transact stock movements in and out of off-site storage
- To process and reconcile stock transactions accurately in order to provide weekly contribution reporting by sales channel alongside monthly management accounts.
- Be part of the team who carry out perpetual inventory counts to required plan
- Review of inventory adjustmen
- Produce weekly reports of stock, Goods In, Cost of Goods Sold and adjustments
- Produce reports required for financial audits
- Understanding and explaining adjustments on stock reports, especially weekly reports
- Raise orders in ERP system to transfer stock
- Transact 3PL stock movements
- Raise tickets with marketplaces and off-site storage as required to resolve discrepancies and take required action with stock and chase claims
- Reviewing and challenging FBA fees relating to stock
- Reconciliation of Netsuite postings to internally generated weekly reports produced by the Stock Management team
- Experience with stock control
- Experience with importing stock and reporting / accounting for stock
- Excellent Excel skills, reconciling reports from different systems with high volume of transactions
- Speed and Accuracy in all areas
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Work on own initiative to solve problems, whilst recognising when you need help and requesting assistance at the right point
