**UX/UI Designer**

We are currently recruiting for a UX/UI Designer to improve our customer’s digital experience of the Slater and Gordon brands through digital touchpoints, support conversion optimisation and support servicing developments as our customer’s needs and expectations change.

This person will translate customer needs and motivations by delivering a programme of prototyping, testing and implementation of design enhancements and innovation.

They will execute web and mobile interface design work based on customer feedback, brand standards and data insight to help achieve our lead generation targets across our Group digital channels.

The role sits within the Marketing Team and reports to the Digital Marketing Manager. Working closely with the rest of the marketing team the role requires an understanding of the value of creating digital experiences that help build the presence of the brands and drive effective customer acquisition.

The person will also work with our Group IT and Customer Experience Teams plus external digital partners.

**Responsibilities to include**:

- Plan and deliver a programme of usability testing drawing on customer insight, analytics, best practice and competitor analysis
- Create concepts using sketching, wire framing and interactive prototypes
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems to address conversion issues
- Research and share industry trends, competitor and comparable experience
- Drive and document design standards and patterns across digital channels and products
**About You**:

- End-to-end UX design - including understanding scope, using research, prototyping, designing, and testing.
- Understanding users, identifying their needs from evidence and translating these into solutions.
- Interaction design work, sketches, storyboards, prototypes, and visual design.
- Appreciation of front-end development technologies.
- Good communication & influencing skills and the ability to facilitate UX workshops with the wider business.
- Experience of creating/working with a design system.
- Crafting designs and prototypes using Adobe XD.
- Knowledge of best practice UX/UI design methodologies and process.
- Able to manage your own workload and prioritise project time accordingly.
