**UX Designer - £45-52k + Excellent Benefits - Remote with Occasional Travel**
**Overview**:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a UX Designer to join a global organisation. This is an excellent opportunity to work on the improvement of quality and consistency of their customer's digital experience across their 100+ websites. This role will be responsiblefor embedding user experience practices and principles into complex projects and online products across their organisation. This is a remote position but will require occasional travel within the UK and some international travel depending on the needs of theproject.
**Role & Responsibilities**:

- Lead the delivery of user-focussed solutions for a range of digital platforms and business critical transactional systems
- Employ a range of tools and techniques to gather business requirements, develop solutions and also to illustrate design thinking for non-technical colleagues; e.g. workshops, sketching, storyboarding, prototype creation
- Contribute to the development and iteration of a component / interaction library to improve the quality and consistency of our UX patterns across the breadth of our client's digital estate
- Lead both qualitative and quantitative user research activities to ensure our design solutions are rooted in evidence and based on user needs, behavioural patterns
- Develop a understanding of user-centred design principles, methodology and implementation by working collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders around the business
- Work collaboratively with Digital colleagues to ensure the quality, feasibility and timely delivery of user-centred design solutions
- Contribute to the promotion of user-centred design and raise business awareness of the work / practice of the Digital team in departmental and organisation-wide communications
**Essential Skills & Experience**:

- Extensive experience of practising a full range of UCD techniques
- Understanding of the theory and benefits of a variety of user research methodologies
- Leading a range of end-to-end user research activities
- Experience of creating and amending existing information architectures
- Collaborating with the visual design process, following wireframes through to ensure that the purpose of the design is retained, while allowing creative input from designers
- Managing stakeholders within a large organisation
- Thorough knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices
- Leading the practical implementation of accessibility principles and ensuring this informs design solutions from the outset
- Sketching, design and annotation of wireframes and prototypes, using tools such as Axure/Sketch/Figma
- Leading requirements-gathering and co-creation workshops with stakeholders and users
- Translating the outputs from user research and requirements gathering into carefully crafted information architecture, with accompanying documentation as required
- Presenting of concepts and progress to groups of stakeholders
- User profiling and scenario generation
**Package**:
