**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Load and unload goods from lorries and containers, ensuring safe handling of all materials.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as necessary for efficient movement of products.
- Perform picking and packing duties accurately to fulfil customer orders.
- Prepare guttering, downpipes and ancillaries for dispatch on external couriers.
- Maintain an organised warehouse environment by following established procedures for storage and inventory management.
- Utilise the Stock Management System (ACCESS) to locate stock, (basic computer skills helpful).
- Assist with Stocktakes
- Assist with building pallets and preparing shipments for dispatch - strapping & banding coils, wrapping pallets.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks while adhering to safety protocols.
- Carrying out deliveries - not a regular part of the role but may be required on an ad-hoc basis
- Maintain a clean workspace - sweeping floors regularly.
- Adhering to the Company Health & Safety requirements to ensure a safe working environment - including wearing safety clothing and footwear.

**Skills**
- Fork Lift Licence (counter balance).
- Skills in load unloading, materials handling, and heavy lifting are required.
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Good numeracy and literacy skills.
- Driving Licence.

Pay: £12.91-£13.52 per hour
