Consultant in Adult Inpatient Psychiatry generous Recruitment Package

Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust is excited to offer a newly created Consultant Psychiatrist post for our male acute in-patient ward—Waveney—at Hellesdon Hospital, Norwich.
The ward is reopening soon following refurbishment, providing 15 male acute beds for adults aged 18-70. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside a new team, develop the service, and hone your leadership skills within a supportive new locality leadership structure and a collaborative MDT.
**As Consultant on Waveney Ward you will**:
Provide admission, assessment, and treatment for male adults (18-70) with severe mental disorders
Care for both voluntary and detained patients under the Mental Health Act
Work alongside substantive Specialty Doctors
Lead and develop the new ward team
Participate in the Consultant on-call rota
**You will have**:
GMC registration
Entry on the GMC Specialist Register (CCST) in Adult Psychiatry, or within three months of completion

**We are also offering**:
Up to £12k relocation expenses
Access to £800 per annum professional development budget
Dedicated SPA time of up to 25% of working hours
Potential of extra PA for DCC with requisite pay per PA
Inclusion on the Consultant on-call rota for the higher level with 3%, 5% or 8% requisite pay depending on frequency
