**Position Summary**

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious, motivated, and energetic individual with fantastic communication, networking and negotiating skills to join our engagement team. We are looking for an experienced individual to provide guidance, knowledge and support to employers which allows them to have an accurate understanding of apprenticeships. You will work closely with levy and non-levy employers to support them through the stages of becoming an apprenticeship employer and assist them with recruiting and developing apprentices. You will be confident in networking to build relationships with LEP contacts, trade organisations and other employer organisations to maximise opportunities for partnership working. Comfortable working to targets, you will have excellent communication and negotiation skills and knowledge of apprenticeship standards. The role requires regular travel across the Northeast.

Salary range: £21,332- £23,110 (plus bonus OTE £29k)

Hours: 37

Contract Term: Non temporary

Location: Sunderland

**Key responsibilities and accountabilities**
- Identify key decision makers providing consultation and guidance on apprenticeships
- Strong local labour market knowledge
- Create and update electronic records of clients
- Building relationships through great customer service
- Target driven, focusing on great results for apprentices and employers
- Resilience to respond and adapt to change
- Operate with flexibility around location and programme
- Attend job and recruitment fairs as required and assist with media and marketing
- Assist in the development of Springboard’s work including new initiatives as part of the ongoing commitment of the organisation to quality and progress
- Ensure the operation of efficient and safe environments and perform with due regard for the health, safety and welfare of all within the guidelines of Springboard's Health and Safety Policy

- To undertake other such duties which are commensurate with the post as may be required from time to time, by the Chief Executive or other Springboard Managers.

- Experience of successful employer engagement
- Sound knowledge of Apprenticeship sectors, standards and funding streams
- Ability to meet targets
- Passion and enthusiasm for employer engagement, recruitment, and student support
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with each employer
- Excellent time and task management skills
- Ability to travel independently
- Sound knowledge of the local labour market
- Excellent communication and presentation skills

- Familiar with apprenticeships levy and non-levy funding

**Salary**: £21,332.00-£23,110.00 per year
