Haylie House is a 26 bedded Residential Home providing excellent standards of care and support; through promoting independence and dignity and positively enhancing the lives of individuals in our care.

We are looking to recruit a **Senior Carer (Nights) **to join our team.

**The Contract**:

- £12.71 per hour
- Contract: 24 hours per week, nightshift

**Essential Experience / Criteria**

A Senior Carer will be:

- A motivated and caring individual.
- Have experience supporting older people, including those living with dementia, showing compassion and wholly adopting a person centred approach to care.
- Experienced and confident leading a care team, acting as champion for the wellbeing of residents.
- Able to prepare, review, and understand a care plan.
- Qualified to a minimum of SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care, working towards Level 3 qualification.
- Have a legal right to work in the UK

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring that all staff are supervised, and shifts run in a smooth and efficient manner, safeguarding the residents at all times.
- Supervising and monitoring Care Staff to ensure all standards of care and support are person centred and appropriate to the persons assessed needs.
- Develop, review and update care plans of all residents within the Home.
- Administering medication in line with the Home’s policies and procedures.
- Ensure all current Covid-19 guidelines are adhered to.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 24 per week

**Salary**: £12.71 per hour

Schedule:

- 12 hour shift
- Night shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Largs, KA30 8EX: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
