**What you’ll be doing**

This role will see you working with primary and secondary schools, colleges, and universities to deliver curriculum-linked activities that will increase students understanding of nature and the environment.

Your day to day will include developing, planning, and delivering courses in outdoor teaching sites to students on science and geography school trips. This will involve leading groups of all abilities in the local environment, ensuring you always have the health and safety of the group in mind.

When you are not working in the field, you will also be happy to contribute to other aspects of working in a busy education centre. This is a very active role, some weeks will be long and tiring, but our tutors find this work very rewarding, and we promise you will too

**Where you’ll be based**

Field Studies Council Margam Discovery Centre is easily accessible, just off the M4 between Swansea and Cardiff. The centre is situated in the beautiful surroundings of Margam Park, an 850-acre country estate nestling on the narrow coastal plain and southern slopes of Mynydd Margam.

It is an award-winning state of the art, low carbon footprint building designed by The Welsh School of Architects that can accommodate up to 140 residents and has 5 classrooms.
