Position Purpose To propose and implement collaborative plans to develop the performance of Group brands in the market, aiming to optimize Category KPI’s for both Sofidel and key customers. Main Responsibilities Drive the local NPD process with support from the Central Product Manager. Provide local insights for all marketing texts, including social posts and packaging. Share market information (trends, competitors, customers, consumers, shoppers) to support decision‑making. Collaborate with the Line Manager and Central Marketing to define and update marketing plans and business priorities. Monitor the Below The Line budget, ensuring orders and invoices match. Assist the Key Account Manager in developing joint business plans and performing shopper insights & category development studies. Drive partnership programs with Key Customers on category management projects. Analyze Retail Measurement Services (RMS), Consumer Panel Service (CPS), and client data to recommend promotional strategies, assortment, and shelf share enlargement. Set up tailored on‑ and off‑line consumer promotions agreed with clients within the category plan. Draft trade stories to facilitate the listing of new products. Lead “go‑to‑market” programs for new products (leaflets, trial promotions, POS support, merchandising). Create in‑store and online material to improve product visibility. Support Field Sales Manager and Key Account Manager in defining specific actions from Perfect Store KPI’s. Promote a safety‑bound corporate culture. Apply Corporate Principles and Values. Qualifications Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or related discipline (or equivalent experience). 3+ years of proven experience in category management, trade marketing, or commercial roles within FMCG. Proven track record with UK grocery retailers and delivering category plans that improve distribution, market share, and profitability. Proficiency with Nielsen, IRI, Kantar, Dunnhumby, and retailer EPOS systems. Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; familiarity with category management software/tools.
