An exciting opportunity has arisen for a temporary part-time (18.75hpw) Band 3 Technical Instructor to join the Specialist Community Palliative Care Service. The post is to cover maternity leave and will be for 12 months. The post will be based in Hexham and will cover the West area, however may occasionally be asked to support in other areas. The posts will be working for Northumbria Healthcare Trust in partnership with Macmillan Cancer Support and will be part of the existing Macmillan Palliative Care team. The service work closely with the MDT including Consultants, Nurses, Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Social Workers and Healthcare Assistants.

You must have an ability to work towards NVQ level 3, be educated to GCSE level or equivalent with at least 2 years' experience of working in and adult health/social care setting.
