The Afan Lodge is a well-established and highly regarded hotel located in picturesque Afan Valley. Its hotel is popular with cyclists and walkers looking to explore the beautiful area. This is a very hands on role in a fast paced environment. If you have a passion for hospitality and have great people skills with a friendly approach, we would love to hear from you.

**Salary**: Minimum Wage
Start Date: As soon as possible

**Job Duties & Responsibilities**
- Greeting and welcoming guests as they arrive.
- Providing menus, answering questions, and making recommendations on food and beverage options.
- Taking and processing orders accurately and efficiently.
- Handling cash and credit card transactions.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the front-of-house area, including tables, chairs, and condiment stations.
- Resolving guest complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Collaborating with colleagues to create a positive work environment and contribute to a cohesive team.
- Checking guests into hotel rooms.

**Key Skills & Qualifications**
- Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Polite and friendly.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £6.40-£11.44 per hour
