Hiring a Portfolio Planner for our client based in Saltburn for relevant project lifecycle responsibility of CAPEX portfolio, for this 12-month contract.

You will manage the project department annual project portfolio and 5-year plan, performing all aspects of administration and assisting in cost control and capital project funding.

You will ideally be qualified or working towards relevant project management/engineering, SHEQ and risk assessment certificates with significant previous experience in heavy industry projects and have an excellent working knowledge of, for example, Microsoft Project, Primavera, SAP, or other relevant software.

**You will be**:

- Managing key milestones and tracking targets, reporting on performance against forecast
- Inputting into key project documentation and processes
- Managing subcontractors and teams, client meetings and project workflow
- Developing schedules and identifying risks
- Ensuing adherence to standards by establishing and promoting PMO frameworks and processes
- Training wider team members
- Improving and overseeing cashflow and accounting processes

**You will additionally**:

- Have a proven track record managing full lifecycle multidisciplinary projects and brownfield site understanding
- Be experienced working with CDM and have working knowledge of construction methodologies
- Be driven, focused and HSEQ led
- Have strong IT, numerical and analytical skills
