A well-established business is looking for an accomplished Head of Learning & Development to provide strategic direction on talent, learning, career, and leadership development. The organisation embraces flexible and hybrid working so you will be able towork from home 2 days per week.

In order to be suitable for this role of significant responsibility you must be a driven and ambitious Head of L&D with demonstrable experience of delivering career enhancing training programmes in a regulated environment. You will have proven experienceof leading a sizeable training team and of successfully delivering largescale training programmes.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will oversee the business plan, budget and workforce plans of the training team and will provide detailed analytical reports on the effectiveness and ROI of training programmes. You will build upon existing L&D processesand policies to ensure the smooth and efficient running of structured training courses and will create a talent development and engagement strategy that attracts and retains an outstanding team.

Your track record will combine operational excellence with obvious expertise in devising and implementing a learning and development roadmap that delivers the strategic objectives of the organisation. You will ensure that first class training is providedand monitor the effectiveness and impact to continuously improve service provision and value add. You will ensure colleague engagement with continuous professional development and education by providing interesting and career enhancing courses that createcareer pathways accessible to all. You will ensure that talent management and development programmes are fully embedded at all levels within the business enabling all colleagues to achieve their full potential.
