**Job Overview**
Central South Services LTD - ASC Branch, is currently seeking dedicated and compassionate individuals to join one of our Agency Care Teams at Reading, Berkshire, as an ASC - Care Probationary Support Worker over the Weekend Shifts and Cover Shifts for our Agency Partners. In the role of ASC - Care Probationary Support Worker, you'll be pivotal in delivering essential services such as residential cleaning, home care, and general support or companionship to individuals in need.

**Primary Responsibilities (Non-Exhaustive List)**:

- Assist Service Client(s) with housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up living areas and doing laundry.
- Assist Service Client(s) with daily activities, including but not limited to personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation.
- Assist Service Client(s) with Prompting Medication.
- Provide Reassurance and Comfort and safeguarding.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to Service Client(s).
- Monitor and report any changes in Service Client(s) physical or mental health to Head Office.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all care services provided and changes in service client(s) physical or mental health.

**Qualifications (Non-Exhaustive List)**:

- Valid UK Driving License & Vehicle.
- Experience gained through professional qualifications or reflective learning and development.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in Adult Social Care Work.
- Completion of Moving & Handling and Mandatory courses with up-to-date certification.
- Completion of a Care Certificate. (Will be required to complete a CSS/ASC Care Certificate / Induction)

**Experience (Non-Exhaustive List)**:

- Experience and Evidence within the Adult/Child Social Care Sector.
- Experience and Evidence in using Digital Social Care Records.
- Experience and Evidence with collaborating with healthcare professionals, CQC inspectors, local authorities, and community services.

**Job Type**: Temporary contract
Contract length: 6 days

Pay: £10.75 per hour

Expected hours: 48 per week
