Our Client is looking to hire a Plant Hire Controller.
Their Plant and Fleet Solutions is recruiting for a Plant Hire Controller in Castleford, to provide crucial support to their front-line operations by providing compliant, innovative and fit for purpose Plant, Vehicles and Equipment.
They currently provide a comprehensive fleet of over 8000 trucks, vans and cars, together with over 20,000 items of general plant and specialist utilities equipment from their Regional Supply Centre.
As a Plant Hire Controller, you will be a part of the Regional Operations Team, that transacts all hires relating to plant, accommodation, tool and fleet requirements.
Their Plant & Fleet Solutions is responsible for the supply and management of specialist equipment and vehicles across the whole of them, supplying the Utilities, Transport, Data and Telecom sectors.
They are at the heart of them, keeping all group business operating safely. Through are four key divisions and dedicated specialists their work allows group businesses to deliver successful results for their clients.
As the Plant Hire Controller your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Processing of all hire requirements through the Plant and Fleet mailbox
- Process all hire and off hire requirements received through the Mailbox and transact on InspHire and Oracle
- Continuously review live hire reports and carry out effective exchanges for compliance and governance, ensuring InspHire is up to date
- Be proficient in all aspects of hire management
- Manage and resolve queries in a timely and efficient manner
- Carry out plant audits and investigation work relating to the audits
Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
- Previous experience within a Plant Hire industry
- Relevant experience in an administrative role essential
- Proven IT skills with experience of Microsoft Office
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience of InspHire asset management system is desirable however full training can be provided
