A renowned international company is looking to double the engineering team at their state-of-the-art factory commutable to Newport, with factories all over Europe. They're looking to invest in and progress experienced engineers as well as up and coming professionals.If you are an experienced Mechanical maintenance engineer, with experience working in a factory environment, then this is the opportunity for you

**Skills required for maintenance engineer**:

- A mechanically biased engineer with a wide skillset; bearings, belts, chains, gearboxes, hydraulics, machining, milling, pneumatics, pumps, turning and welding.
- Need to hold an engineering qualification
- Must have worked in factory environment; Eg; FMCG, packaging, pharmaceutical, distribution etc
- The ability to machine and weld will be core skills in this role.
- Machinery: conveyors, incline belts and rollers.
- The shift will be earlies, lates and nights + 1 in 4 weekend work
