This role is ideal for someone with a strong mechanical maintenance background who enjoys hands-on problem solving, continuous improvement, and working with a wide variety of machinery. Key Responsibilities:Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) tasks as per the CMMS scheduleAttend and resolve equipment breakdowns efficiently, ensuring accurate reporting of all actions via CMMSSupport proactive maintenance by identifying and implementing improvements to reduce downtimeAdhere to health, safety, and hygiene standards at all timesAssist in maintaining a safe working environment and ensuring contractor compliance with site standardsCollaborate with team members to maximise labour efficiency and shift performanceParticipate in training and upskilling to maintain high technical capabilityTrain others where needed and support cross-functional team developmentPrioritise workload to support production and engineering KPIsContribute to a culture of ownership, improvement, and engineering excellenceEssential Skills & Experience:Mechanical engineering qualification (apprenticeship, NVQ, HNC or equivalent)Strong mechanical bias (up to 100%) with hands-on experience in bearings, belts, chains, gearboxes, and hydraulicsProven experience in a manufacturing or production maintenance roleFamiliarity with CMMS systems and strong fault-finding capabilitiesGood communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solvingWillingness to work within a KPI-driven environment and to strict deadlinesWhy Apply?Stable weekend schedule with no overnight shiftsGrowing team with internal progression opportunitiesFree parking and subsidised on-site canteenPension scheme after 6 months of serviceBe part of a collaborative team committed to improvement and innovationIf you are interested in this role and feel that you have the right skills, then please click apply at the bottom of this advert.
