This post sits within the School of Environmental Sciences¿ Student Experience Team and is an exciting opportunity to join a newly formed Enhancement and Projects sub-team. This role will primarily provide a defined administrative service to the academic and professional services staff within the School. You will provide administrative support and work with colleagues to support quality processes and projects related to education delivery, with a key aspect of the role covering the administration of field classes, global opportunities, and supporting student journey enhancement activities, initiatives and projects within the School/developed at University level. You will report directly to the Student Experience Coordinator (Enhancement and Projects) and will be expected to deputise for them when required. W**e are particularly interested in applicants that have a positive and friendly attitude. You will work at School level, working across both departments and be required to support the wider student experience as required

This is a busy, varied and important role requiring a meticulous attention to detail and an ability to multi-task to ensure that all tasks are executed effectively to the highest of standards. Day-to-day work will be complex and involve cases that will require an excellent working knowledge and understanding of policies, regulations, ordinances; interpreting these with an understating of the implication of making decisions on these guidelines. You will have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective working relationships within the School, across the University, and with external partners. You will take pride in providing a service that exceeds expectations.

You should have 3 GCSEs at Grade C or above (or equivalent including English Language), with excellent IT, communication, and organisational skills. Experience of Microsoft Office 365 (including Outlook, Teams, Excel) and of University IT systems (Canvas, Banner, Curriculum Manager and Business Objects) is desirable.
