**Role**:
To provide dedicated support to the Adviser in the day to day running of the business to include compliance with regulatory requirements, client servicing, and support of the overall goals of the practice.

**Key Responsibilities**:
Support the Practice Management;
- To support the Adviser by dealing effectively with day to day business
- To operate and maintain (as directed) effective systems, processes and procedures which enable the Adviser to optimise client meetings
- To support the Adviser in tracking compliance, regulatory and legislative requirements
- To communicate effectively within the Practice, to clients and third parties
- To ensure that all outstanding commissions are dealt with in a timely manner
- To ensure (as directed) that all office stationary and equipment is of sufficient quality, quantity and up to date

Business processing;
- Support the Adviser to ensure that the end to end business process is adhered to and tracked efficiently in line with the regulatory standards of the business and all relevant external bodies.
- Support the Adviser to ensure all relevant information required for writing the client report is available
- Maintain accurate and up to date client information
- Support the Adviser in establishing and maintaining effective relationships with business assurance/management

Practice development;
- To support the Practice Manager with and contribute to any relevant projects
- To support the Adviser in gaining new prospects and clients
- To support the Practice Manager/Adviser to achieve Practice goals and objectives
- To support the Adviser in developing client relationships and referrals, service existing clients and assist in building new relationships

Team responsibilities;
- To achieve daily and quarterly goals and satisfy the priorities agreed with the Practice Manager
- To project a professional image in both appearance and attitude and provide quality support on time to agreed standards
- To attend and contribute to regular update meetings with the Practice Manager/Adviser
- To maintain a good working relationship with clients and third parties

**Essential Skills**:

- The ability to balance conflicting demands in a calm and friendly manner
- Able to maintain a positive 'can do' attitude
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team
- Comfortable with face to face and telephone client interaction
- Analytical with precise attention to detail
- Broad experience of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Experience of Microsoft Outlook
- Comfortable with electronic data systems
- Experience in maintaining systems, processes and procedures
- Knowledge of (or willingness to learn) related regulation and legislation
