**Mortgage Associate**
We are looking to expand our team of Mortgage Associates with a new and exciting scheme designed to take you on an 18 month journey through the mortgage industry from mortgage associate through to a fully fledged mortgage advisor.
No more paperwork, lengthy meetings or filing cabinets in sight As a Mortgage Associate, you will be the face of our business, often the first to interact with customers and help them navigate through one of the biggest financial and emotional decisions of their lives.
**The role will involve**:
- Managing a pipeline of business prospects, whether starting their home journey or remortgaging their existing home
- Hitting key sales performance targets; driving customer conversion through critical funnel stages (e.g., converting prospects into leads)
- Executing on key sales activities within defined time frames for each customer (e.g., speed in responding to a new prospect)
- Delivering outstanding customer experiences by successfully responding to questions and queries, and developing the requisite product and market knowledge to do so effectively
- Ability to understand the customers timeframes and objectives and have a flexible approach to meet the customers needs.
- Constantly looking to improve our in-house software or the customer experience by providing input to our product, sales, and revenue operations teams and testing solutions

- Organised with strong time management skills
- Hungry to learn and willing to embrace the financial services industry
- Ambitions to progress your career in a forward-thinking company
- Good interpersonal skills and be able to engage with customers from a variety of backgrounds.
- 12 months of working inside a sales experience (mortgage industry is preferable but not required)
- A team player, happy to cover for colleagues and working as a collaborative team
**Location**
This role will require occasional time in the Cardiff office, with the flexibility to work remotely within the UK for the rest of the time. During the probationary period we ideally would like you to attend the office more regularly than once your probation has been passed.
**Rewards Package and Remuneration**
The total rewards package and remuneration is a mixture of salary, benefits & bonus and will be based on experience and potential.
We will support you through your CeMap qualifications within the first 6-12 months of your role on your journey to become a Qualified Mortgage Adviser. If your probation is successful, we will endorse your career path from Mortgage Associate to Mortgage Adviser with unlimited commission potential.
