You will also be highly organised, with demonstrated planning and time-management skills, supported by good IT skills and meet the criteria as laid out in the person specification for the role. - Regulated activity: This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the Charity is therefore permitted to ask shortlisted applicants to declare all convictions and cautions (including those which are "spent" unless they are "protected" under the DBS filtering rules) to assess their suitability to work with children. Should you be shortlisted, you will be required to complete a disclosure form prior to interview._ **About the Role** We have an exciting opportunity for an Early Years Tutor to join our team of professionals delivering early years practitioner and early years educator qualifications in Central London. The role is a home based role with some travel for group cohort delivery and observations of learners. As part of this role you will: - Manage apprenticeships for the lifecycle of their programme, from sign-up to reviews, EPA and the timely completion of the qualification including all associated administration - Robustly assess and develop learner competency for a range of qualifications. - Provide training for all components including functional skills throughout the apprenticeship, in line with our quality standards - Work with current and prospective employers to identify and secure additional apprenticeship opportunities. Offered on a fixed term basis, this is a perfect opportunity to deliver inspirational programmes that engage and motivate our learners to progress and achieve. **Safeguarding responsibilities** - This role will involve daily contact with early years learners, and you will be engaging in regulated activity relevant to children. - All staff and volunteers have a responsibility for promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people, and/or vulnerable adults for whom you are responsible and with whom you come into contact. - The Charity’s Safeguarding Policy is available from Central YMCA website.
