UI Designer

As a UI Designer within our experience design team, you’ll have an opportunity to work across all aspects of user interaction and experience design. We’re looking for a talented and enthusiastic designer, either a recent graduate or someone looking for a career move who has a couple of years experience under their belt. This role offers an exciting opportunity to help build and shape our design system, collaborate with cross-functional teams and make a meaningful contribution to creating user-friendly and visually appealing digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

- Create intuitive and engaging user interfaces for web interface, across mobile and desktop
- Develop interactive prototypes to demonstrate design concepts and user flows
- Participate in user research and usability testing to gather insights and iterate designs
- Support the maintenance and management of the digital design system
- Support conversations with front-end developers including developing interaction design specifications
- Support page design development, including working with peers across the digital experience design team to maintain user flows and digital standards

Key Skills and Experience:

- Degree in Graphic, Interaction Design or related field
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma
- Strong understanding of design principles, theories and layout
- Excellent communicator
- Attention to detail and a keen eye for UI asthetics

Behaviours:

- Creative thinker with ability to think outside the box to bring ideas to life
- Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of UI/UX design
- Solid understanding of user-centred design principles
- Commitment to creating impactful designs that support KPI’s
