**SEO and CONTENT MANAGER Office location, On-site, Cheadle Hulme £40,000 - £45,000 (doe)** One of IT Bods leading clients is a Financial Services organisation established in 2010. In 2018 they expanded their advice services into Equity Release and within 3 years have established themselves as one of the top 5 Equity Release advice firms in theUK.

The role offers a real opportunity to make a difference by generating leads, conversions and increasing brand awareness through database segmentation, targeting, and developing SEO & content delivery. You'll be part of a hard-working marketing team wherethere is the scope and trust to run with your ideas and get stuck in. You will be tracking success and constantly improving performance across our SEO & Content channels measuring ROI through detailed analysis.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Content Management**
- Deliver a robust and forward-thinking content marketing strategy for our core audience of over 55, UK homeowners
- Collaborate with the broader marketing team and wider business to devise and execute content delivery
- Creation of content calendar that is data-driven and relevant to customer queries
- Ensure evergreen content development supports the delivery of commercial targets - primarily driving core business KPIs, as well as building engagement with the brand
- Develop and manage the webinar program
- Planning, management, and delivery of offline content (such as, collateral, newsletters, direct mail)
- Line-management and development of a Social & Content Executive

**SEO Optimisation**
- Support the Head of Performance Marketing in creating and executing the SEO strategy, from planning to delivery to drive new inbound organic leads
- Carry out regular site audits and analysis across markets to ensure they're set up in line with SEO best practice and are being continually optimised
- Conduct monthly keyword research to guide content to impact how Google sees the ranking factors of our website and report regularly
- Direct off-page optimisation projects (e.g. link-building)
- Work closely with our web development agency to manage development priorities
- Identify problems and improve efficiency and implement solutions in a timely manner
- Prepare and present daily, weekly and monthly KPI reports

**Skills**
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills supported by excellent copy writing abilities
- Creativity and the ability to develop high-quality, engaging & inspirational content
- 3 years+ of SEO and content or similar
- Experience and success in planning and delivering a successful SEO strategy
- Expertise in A/B and other testing methods
- Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Knowledge of SEO marketing tools such as SEMRush, Moz, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog and more
- Knowledge of CRM systems such as HubSpot
- Sense of ownership and pride in your performance and its impact on company's success
- Experience of outreach and link building tactics
- Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
- Team player
- Good time-management skills

It would be a bonus if you also had:

- Financial services industry experience
- Marketing qualification will be seen as a bonus
