**About the job**:
We’re looking for a HR Compliance Officer to join our team, who’ll support our HR Systems and Compliance Manager and work with the wider HR Team to ensure that we’re following good compliance practices. You’ll ensure that all of our key areas of activity are monitored in the right way and will drive improvements in all areas of HR Compliance. You’ll be responsible for auditing our HR Systems and reporting back any anomalies, as well as coordinating job evaluation panels, policy forums and the contingency worker database, in addition to dealing with Subject Access Requests.
**Working in this role you will also**:
- Administer and send out Train Driver licenses as and when requests are made
- Act as gatekeeper and coordinator of all reciprocal travel arrangements, advising and guiding on what agreements are in place and creating a central database where all of the information is kept up to date
- Support with audits throughout the business on IUP and Aggregation allowances; ensuring all allowances applied are correct
- Support the HR Analyst with basic reporting processes and information requests such as Freedom of Information requests
- Ensure the HR Shared Services Centre is compliant in regards to the protection of sensitive data which is stored within the office; carrying out regular spot checks within the office environment and
- Reporting any breaches to the HR Systems and Compliance Manager
**About you**:
To be successful in this role you’ll need to be highly organised with strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ideally, you will have experience working in a HR role, preferably shared services and be competent and comfortable working with HR systems and basic reporting.
You should also be able to demonstrate:
- The ability to juggle various priorities at one time
- A strong awareness of legislation related to HR compliance and Employment Law
- Experience of organizing and coordinating large meetings and panels
- Minute taking experience and knowledge
- Able to analyse and interpret reports
- Basic excel skills
