Lifelong Family Links (LFL) is a registered charity based in London, established in 1982 to support children and young people with medium to severe disabilities in Lambeth. LFL also provides services for vulnerable adults and young people in Southwark, focusing on delivering specialist support and enhancing access to universal provisions. The organization runs various clubs, sessions, and support services to promote social diversity and positive interactions.

**Role Description**

This is a part-time on-site role for a Support Worker at Lifelong Family Links. The Support Worker will be responsible for providing befriending, mentoring, and support services to children, young people, and adults with disabilities, as well as facilitating supervised contacts and handovers at the Children Contact Centre. The role involves ensuring the safety, well-being, and positive experiences of service users on a daily basis.

- Technical Support abilities
- Empathy, patience, and compassion
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities
- Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and regulations
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to provide technical assistance and support as needed

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: £12.04-£12.91 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 25 per week
