**The role**:
A typical day could include:
- general student enquiry management
- assisting with Open Days for the University and the School of Management
- organising the receipt, collection and distribution of student assignments and projects for marking
- liaising with academics, students and staff to share information and advise on queries
**About you**:
You will need to be comfortable in a fast-paced environment with an eye for detail and good accuracy, some tasks can often be time critical. Excellent communication skills are required and some situations may require tact and sensitivity. An awareness of the need for confidentiality and an ability to work to tight deadlines, you will require good organisational skills, a high level of initiative and be able to respond quickly to adapt to changing needs. Previous administrative experience is essential as is proficiency in using IT word processing and spreadsheet packages. You will be given training on internal systems.
This is a permanent full-time role working 36.5 hours a week. In addition you may be required to support events and work occasional evenings and weekends.
