**Location - Dagenham, London RM10 7FZ**
**Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm**

**The Role**

As the Janitor onsite, you’ll focus on keeping the office, washrooms and general areas in a clean and presentable condition whilst promoting good health and safety practices.

**Key responsibilities**
- Maintaining a high level of cleaning standards to all non-production areas
- Responsible for ensuring removal of waste from internal bins and disposed of in accordance with the correct process.
- Maintain the hygienic cleanliness and appearance of all washrooms and ensuring that all consumables are kept well stocked
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the staff canteen
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the general offices, corridors, stairs, reception and meeting rooms.
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the changing areas
- Maintain safe standards and appearance of the cleaning cupboards
- Adhering to all site rules and complying with mandatory PPE requirements
- To work proactively with McCormick and contractor staff to ensure internal areas are closely monitored so reactive attention can be quickly given.
- Daily cleaning of driver’s hub and security hut
- Supporting the wider Bidvest Noonan / McCormick teams
- Report any faults found to the site manager

**Experience required**
- Experience within a similar role, would be preferred.
- Organisational and time-management skills.
- Carry out daily sweep and cleans with deep interior cleans occasionally.
- To fully understand and comply with all company and statutory relating to hours of work, health & safety, and working practices, abide by all company working policies and procedures.
