Neway International are seeking a Caretaker / Janitor (SC2) to join our client based with London Borough of Haringey. Location: Alexandra House (with rotation across Hub sites: Alex House, RPH, WGL & 48 STR) Hours: 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00 (excluding breaks) Pay Rate: £15.25 PAYE / £19.78 Umbrella IR35 Status: Inside IR35 DBS Requirement: Yes About the Client The London Borough of Haringey is committed to delivering high-quality services that support community well-being and align with its Corporate Plan Review. This role contributes to maintaining safe, clean, and functional environments across council hub sites. The Role The Caretaker / Janitor will provide essential site support, ensuring facilities are maintained to a high standard. The role involves working to a pro-roster across multiple hub sites, with full-time hours until 5th December 2025, reducing to three days per week thereafter until 19th December 2025. Weekly rosters will be confirmed each Tuesday. Key Responsibilities Carry out general caretaking and janitorial duties across hub sites. Ensure buildings are clean, safe, and well-maintained. Support site operations including minor repairs, maintenance, and security checks. Liaise with staff and contractors to ensure smooth service delivery. Maintain accurate records and comply with health and safety standards. Candidate Requirements Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with a wide range of people. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage workload and meet deadlines. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Basic experience with Microsoft Office. Previous experience in a similar role desirable. GCSE Grade A–C (or equivalent) in English and Mathematics preferred. DBS clearance required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
