**The Role**:

**Key Responsibilities**:
Planning and Execution:

- Plan, organise and execute all sports events, including term courses, school sessions and holiday camps.
- Create and implement a yearly operational plan, taking into account all key dates.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure the availability of facilities, equipment, and personnel required for each event.
- Work closely with the recruitment team to ensure class ratios are maintained.
- Contribute to strategic decision-making and future projects.
- Work with the marketing department to positively promote The Little Foxes Club.

Logistics Management:

- Manage the logistics of staff travel, equipment transportation, and venue setup.
- Ensure all equipment, uniforms, and supplies are well-maintained and available for use as needed.

Team Coordination:

- Collaborate with coaches and support staff to ensure smooth operations and address operational concerns.
- Supervise and provide guidance to a team of sports operations staff, including assistant operations manager, head coaches and administrative staff.
- Conduct performance evaluations and facilitate training and development programs.

Safety and Compliance:

- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations.

Budget Management:

- Assist in the development of budgets for sports operations and ensure responsible use of resources.
- Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and report on budget variances.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

- Collect and analyse data related to sports operations, including attendance, equipment usage, and event outcomes.
- Prepare reports for directors and recommendations for improving operational efficiency.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Business, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
- Proven experience in sports operations or event management.
- Strong knowledge of sports rules, regulations, and safety standards.
- Excellent organisational and multitasking skills.
- Proficient in budget management and financial analysis.
- Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a results-oriented mindset.
- A passion for sports and a commitment to promoting sportsmanship and excellence.
- Expert level of English language and right to work in the UK.
- Existing interest/involvement in sport/education and previous experience working in the children's sports sector would be advantageous.
- Willing to be contactable during out-of-office hours, responding to urgent requests if required.
