Blossom Dental Care in York is a family dental practice offering general mixed NHS and private dentistry.

We are undergoing an extensive renovation programme to provide better facilities for patients in a more spacious and comfortable environment and are now looking for a bright and organised administrator to proactively manage the non-clinical relationship with potential and existing patients, providing first class customer service.

**Duties will include**:

- Providing assistance to the practice manager as and when required and working as part of the practices senior team
- Day-to-day administration to support patients and colleagues
- Managing diary appointments, explaining payment options and taking payments
- Providing information on the practice membership plan and proactively signing-up members
- Managing systems for follow-ups and daily housekeeping routines
- Ensuring that all the relevant paperwork is completed promptly and accurately and that all patient records are updated and maintained, according to practice procedures
- Ensuring high standards are maintained at all times
- Supporting reception with call answering and meeting/greeting patients when required
- Managing referrals, debt and open courses of treatment
- Liaising with our dental laboratories
- Checking daily takings and carrying out banking
- Carrying out auditing as instructed by the practive manager
- Carrying out additional training for information governance lead and safeguarding

**Skills & Experience**
- Excellent customer service skills to ensure all patients have an outstanding experience from the moment they enquire about our treatments through to the end of their treatment
- Proven administrative background
- Accurate data inputting skills across different systems to ensure coherent patient pathways
- Organised, methodical and a confident communicator
- Excellent command of English language, grammar and spelling
- High attention to detail and good prioritisation skills
- IT literate including all Microsoft products and CRM software
- Well presented, bright and helpful with a can do attitude and positive outlook towards work
- Clinical background preferred, but not essential

**Salary**:up to£13/hr depending on experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
