**Location**:Ferryhill, County Durham
**Salary**:£17,472.40 pa, DOE
**Contract**:Permanent, Full time
**Hours**:35 per week

**Support Workers / Lifestyle Co-ordinators - About the Role**:
Oaklea’s Supported Living Project in Ferryhill, provides care and support to people with learning disabilities.

In your role, you will support customers with a wide variety of needs and aspirations and work with our organisational values as we strive to encourage independence.

Working hours will include days, evenings and weekends. Sleep-in shifts are also part of the working week.

**Your responsibilities will be**:

- Enjoy variety within your role and have a flexible approach to working.
- Be proactive in your role and enjoy accessing the community with people you support.

You will be required to work closely with a small team and you must be confident in communicating with people who may who may have challenges communicating with you.

**Support Workers / Lifestyle Co-ordinators - What We Need from You**:
Personal care support is a requirement of this role and also a personalised approach to those in your care. Mandatory training is also a requirement of your role.

You do not need to be experienced, but it is essential that you share our values. You must have a positive attitude and want to improve the lives of people with a learning disability.
