We are currently recruiting a **Principal Land Surveyor with Highways experience **to join our Special Projects Department. This is a great opportunity for someone that has land and engineering surveying experience from the Highways Environment to work within the expeditious Geospatial industry. The successful applicant will be reporting to the Special Projects - Department Head and will be contractually based from our London Office.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead, Train, and Mentor the Site Teams
- Technical Lead for Highways Surveying
- Manage Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental procedures on site ensuring compliance with standards procedures in the delivery of the works
- Collaborate with Special Projects Team members to develop survey methodologies and proposals to complete individual work packages
- Assist in completion of risk assessment and method statement
- Lead site surveying activities within a Highways Environment
- Provide detailed Shift Reports
- Assist with general office processing of survey information when required
**Requirements**:
- Ability to lead and manage site teams
- Experience of working within a highway’s environment
- Experienced in land and engineering survey techniques (control, topographical, laser scanning)
- Post processing of survey data
- Formal Surveying Qualification Training or 5+ years’ experience
