Global Accounting Network are currently partnered with a London based high growth real estate business to recruit for a part-qualified assistant accountant. This is a permanent position to support a finance team with transactional finance duties and managingthe full accounting functions for a couple of smaller entities. This Assistant Accountant job will suit an experienced accounts receivable specialist, looking to take their next step in their career.

Duties in this accounts assistant role will include raising sales invoices and credit notes in line the appropriate billing cycle, ensuring invoices and credit notes are posted within the month-end close down timetable, ensuring invoices and credit notesare VAT-compliant, processing billing data, preparing regular billings summary to share with senior management, preparing pre and post-billing reports to ensure proposed month end billings are in line with tenancy occupancy report, forecasting incoming cashflowsbased on expected receipts, processing direct debit set up for tenants, and processing refunds in line with company guidelines on a weekly basis. Additionally, this accounts assistant will support preparation of regular arrears reports to share with seniormanagement, produce commentary / support for aged receivables for the Management Accounting team, in line with the month-end close down timetable, reconcile trade receivables, follow process to chase aged arrears, build relationships with key customers topromote information flow and arrears management, reconciling month end arrears report between tenancy management system and SAP, providing working papers for audit purposes and support audit queries and supporting tax queries with the support of the internaltax team.
