Prototype Engineer

Are you an experienced Prototype Engineer seeking a fresh and exciting challenge based in the Walsall area? If yes we want to hear from you Our client are a fast growing bespoke security solutions provider who service the UK domestic market.
Specialising in niche security solutions they are now looking for a prototype engineer to join their growing team, helping aid growth ambitions for 2002 and beyond.
Your duties as a prototype engineer will include but not limited too:

- 2D and 3D CAD Design work.
- Designing bespoke wood and metal based solutions.
- Preparing assembly instructions and supporting bench joinery staff with technical, hands of support.
- Bench Joinery work / General Fabrications.
- Testing new products and assessing design fault to improve products.
- Supporting site installers.
- Prototyping from design through to finished conception.
The ideal applicant will have previous experience within a prototyping capacity, preferably from a wood working background Experience in the furniture trade would beneficial but not essential.
Annual Salary:
£30,000 to £35,000
Hours of work will be 8am-4.30pm Monday to Friday.
