**Your Role**:
As an Educational Content Specialist, you’ll need specialist knowledge of the primary curriculum and the associated curriculum resources as well as strong writing skills, enabling you to plan, organise and create practical and inspiring content of exceptional quality.

Some of the responsibilities of this great opportunity include:

- Create and develop digital content, ensuring it remains engaging, learner-focussed, relevant to the market and boosts brand awareness.
- Work closely with external content writers to brief content requirements.
- Review and approve content from external content writers to ensure content is high-quality, reflects briefing documentation and style guides, and is delivered on time.
- Build and support a pipeline of content ideas based on understanding customer and market needs and in line with an editorial calendar.
- Liaise with our customers, visit schools, nurseries and attend customer advisory boards to gain an excellent understanding of the customers’ needs.
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of UK curriculum including regional variations, commercially available curriculums & trends in pedagogy.
- Conduct regular research into trends to ensure our content is up to date, inspiring and differentiated from other resources on the market, enabling teachers to deliver inspirational lessons.
- Work closely with the Creative team to ensure our content delivers brand and quality standards.
- Identify potential partners, content writers, specialists, and influencers in this market to offer ad hoc trend content and hot topics, ensuring our content remains relevant to our market.

**About You**:
We are ideally looking for the following skills and experience:

- In-depth knowledge of UK Primary Education ideally with direct classroom experience.
- Understanding of what will support teachers in the classroom, reducing planning and prep time outside of delivering lessons.
- Strong language and communication skills, to create excellent written content and establish a clear, strong brand tone of voice.
- Ability to work on multiple projects, be a self-starter with strong interpersonal skills to build internal and external relationships.
- Able to work collaboratively across multiple teams to achieve results.
- Well organised, with excellent time management skills and ability to prioritise.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Able to demonstrate a proactive and resourceful approach.
- Excellent IT skills - proficient in MS Office.
- Excellent SPaG skills and ability to use them within the editing element of your role.
