This role will support international alternatives strategic initiatives, primarily focused on the expansion of private assets into the Franklin Templeton wealth channel, as well as, the growth of overall institutional business. This role will have immediate impact, leading the implementation of the new fund launches and creating innovative structures to allow for investors to access the fund.

What are the ongoing responsibilities of an Alternatives Product Structuring Specialist?- Responsible for the structuring and implementation of new product ideas to drive the growth of FT’s alternatives capabilities and meet the strategic goals.- Lead the execution of new product ideas, working collaboratively across FT’s alternatives specialist investment managers (SIMs) as well as the wider FT infrastructure.- Ensure the adherence to relevant internal and external Legal, Regulatory and Governance requirements.- Own the FT alternatives product range lifecycle, ensuring the appropriate evolutions to support commercial success and regulatory developments.- Implement framework for monitoring key commercial and strategic aspects of the alternatives fund range.- Partner with Product Strategy on the identification of new product ideas, new external partners, and market developments- Create thought leadership to support the growth of alternatives adoption across client channels.- Work with external partners to identify and deliver comprehensive alternatives products and solutions.

What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful?- Related experience in alternatives product structuring or legal role.- Deep understanding of alternatives asset classes and relevant fund structures, as well as relevant regulations.- Experience on leading large and complex projects, ensuring the front-to-back delivery of comprehensive solutions.- Ability to work closely with the leadership of FT and SIMs, delivering strategic insights and competitive insights.- Excellent analytical, communication and presentation skills. With an ability to translate and articulate technical, operational, and regulatory information into concise points.
