Legal Advisor

We are currently recruiting for a talented Legal Advisor to join our first class, specialist RTA department, in Liverpool working specifically within our Motor Insurers Bureau (MIB) team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate aboutthe work they do, the service they provide and getting the best results for their clients.

The Legal Advisor will be responsible for their own caseload of up to 300 MIB Untraced and Uninsured claims. This will include but not limited to:

- Submitting MIB claim forms to the MIB portal
- Arranging medical evidence where appropriate
- Gathering evidence for liability arguments
- Dealing directly with the MIB and on their dedicated portal service.
- Providing excellent customer care
- Calculating special damages
- Submitting claims and advising clients on offers and generally.

**Responsibilities to include**:

- Submitting MIB claim forms to the MIB portal
- Arranging medical evidence where appropriate
- Gathering evidence for liability arguments
- Dealing directly with the MIB and on their dedicated portal service.
- Providing excellent customer care
- Calculating special damages
- Submitting claims and advising clients on offers and generally.
- Dealing with post from internal system
- Drafting documents, letter writing, collating documents and bundle preparation, photocopying and scanning
- Ensuring all information on a case is accurately and promptly entered onto the database
- Dealing with Billing and financial tasks quickly.
- Using the MIB portal as required.
- Any other ad hoc duties as reasonably requested

**About You**:

- Organised with good attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise in order to meet deadlines
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- A willingness to learn
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- The ability to work on one’s own initiative as well as effectively, as part of a team
